Federalist Society National Student Symposium. Panel discussions will consider "Is the Separation of Powers Principle Exportable?"; "Confirmation Battles and Presidential Nominations"; "The Administrative State and the Constitution"; and "War Powers and the Executive." R. Edward Cruz, former solicitor general of Texas, will debate Medellin v. Texas with Harold Hongju Koh, dean, Law Sch. Laurence H. Silberman of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit will deliver the keynote address.
